Microsoft Access Consultant: I have enjoyed working with Microsoft
Access as a consultant since Access version 2.0 was released in 1993. I work with
other software development / database / reporting tools as well. But the nice thing
about Microsoft Access is that it enables a consultant to deliver a database solution
in a much shorter time frame than is usually the case with other development products.
Of course, there is no "one size fits all" solution out there. Microsoft Access
might not be a good fit for your particular business needs. But for many businesses,
and even on a departmental level in larger corporations, Microsoft Access can be
used to create very functional database applications that not only meet the needs
of the business or department, but do so in a very cost effective way.
